An Israeli airstrike on Friday killed one man in the central Gaza Strip, medics said.
Israel warplanes bombed an area east of al-Bureij camp, signaling an end to an Egyptian-brokered truce reached Wednesday.
Qassem Abdullah Ahmed, 24, was killed and two people were injured in the strike, Gaza Health Ministry spokesman Ashraf al-Qidra said.

Israeli military said in a statement that it hit "a terrorist squad
during preparations to fire a rocket at Israel from the central Gaza
Strip."
The Popular Resistance Committees said the man killed in the attack belonged to their group.
